40-60 percent cloud cover; 61-72 degrees; good visibility; winds very
strong, mostly from the SW, increasing from 14 to 22 mph, gusting to 35 mph
Raptor Observations:
The first good migration day of the spring, hitting triple digits with 8
species. Birds did not tarry on the strong winds and tended to be high.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
