Tom and I birded Patuxent Wildlife Refuge South today around Cash Lake. Highlights were many Pine Warblers singing, Tree Swallows, Eastern Phoebe and a single Osprey. I had a thrush that has me stumped. It definitely did not appear to be a Hermit to me as it had no rufous qualities to it all. It had very little spotting on the chest, was a dull gray brown and had a pale-ish cheek along with the eye ring. One day I will be able to get these!
