Early on Sunday morning (sometime between 3 am and 6
am) a large flight of Tundra Swans passed over our
house in Bowie. They woke me up. The calling went
on for several minutes.

Heritage-Kingman Island walking bridge and East
Capitol Street Bridge this morning. It was there
from 8:15 - 9:30am until spooked by a guy walking
his dog. The swan went south down the Anacostia
River, just a few feet above the surface. I
checked water access areas between RFK and Bolling
AFB, but no swan.
