The Irvine Le Conte's showed well again today between 0740 and 0750 in the previously described location. It was one of the first sparrows I saw when I arrived; teed up spontaneously in the brambles about five feet off the ground and sat there for a couple of minutes as if he'd just woken up and was catching some rays. No playback was required. Jim Green and company were arriving as I was leaving; hope they saw it.
