For anyone having difficulties deciphering the location and the old trail
map on Irvine's site...  they have a new updated map available in the
visitor's center.

The staff gave me permission to post it to my site:

I highlighted in yellow the quickest trail to the observing area where I
believe it has been seen, and marked that area in red.

I arrived at 9am just as the earlier birders were leaving.  I stayed until
noon but did not hear it or see it.  All I can contribute is this map :-).
