Hi MD Osprey:

I am trying to clear out some old MD/DC Records Committee action
items (can you tell?)

Below is an idea I surfaced a few years ago but I couldn't get any
takers. Just so I can scratch this off my action item list, with
impunity, I wanted to at least throw the idea out to the MD Osprey community.

The idea is ...

MD Pelagic Web Page
To help stimulate participation in Maryland water pelagic trips, the
committee Secretary suggests that the MOS web site include a section
related to pelagic birding featuring the species that can be expected
and the rarities that are possible on Maryland waters pelagic trips.
The recommendation also includes that links be provided to any
operators who currently run Maryland water pelagic trips. The intent
of this suggestion is to provide information to new birders and
encourage more pelagic birding participation.

I realize that the See Life Paulagics web page
(http://www.paulagics.com/site/) includes lots of information on
pelagic birding, but this idea was to tailor a web page to Maryland
pelagic birding.

The idea, above, is a personal suggestion, and has not been
coordinated with the MOS Board or even the MOS webmaster. Just an
idea and food for thought ...
