These early date records are fun to watch as a new species' early MD date seems to be beat almost daily!

Thank you Bob Ringler for supplying this fun and important data!!!

In our yard, on Hances Point south of North East in Cecil County, we've had our earliest nest building House Finches (Feb. 25), our earliest FOS Phoebe (Mar. 8), and our earliest FOS Osprey (Mar. 10).

I feel certain that any day we'll have House Wren, Gnatcatcher, and/or a singing Chipping Sparrow.

On a side note, I've had singing Pine Warblers for more than a week at work (Edgewood Area of APG, Harford County). On March 6th, I had 50 Tree Swallows also at work. A day later, I counted 75 at the same locale(exact counts both days)...

Happy Spring!

Erin go bragh!
