I was one of a total of six late morning arrivals. The bird finally
popped up in the tangle about noon, and posed for a longish time.
However, my photos were a complete wash, too distant.

Note that the bird appears to at least occasionally associate with the
Savannah Sparrows, and was seen to fly out into the field on several
occasions after it was found.

Also of note, a single Wilson's Snipe flushed out of the right side of the
marsh about 10:30.

For you herp fans (Atlas coordinator take note) following four amphibians
sounded off during my stay: American Toad, Wood Frog, Green Frog (one
call), and Spring Peeper. I ran video to record the sound of the Wood
Frogs on the off chance that it had not been recorded in that block yet.
