Ours are singing up a storm, and even watched a pair yesterday that looked like they were checking out nest sites (in one of our thick hollies around the deck). Be careful what you wish for...

We are hopeful for a more varied repertoire in the weeks to
ome. Actually, last Sunday at Cromwell Valley, the Mockingbirds there
ere not singing either.

After a season devoid of Mockingbird song last year, we are happy to
elcome a new Northern Mockingbird to our neighborhood. It hasn't done
uch in the way of singing so far, other than random snatches of
illdeer. We are hopeful for a more varied repertoire in the weeks to
ome. Actually, last Sunday at Cromwell Valley, the Mockingbirds there
ere not singing either.
We had our first Mourning Cloak on Sat & Cromwell Valley Park had a nice
prinkling of Spring Azures on Sunday.
