Surveying the new regenerative stormwater conveyance systems in Rock Creek Park this morning, just north of Military Road.

Highlights were:
2 Blue-gray gnatcatchers (not together)
1 Barred owl
1 Golden-crowned kinglet
1 Eastern phoebe 
1 Pileated woodpecker
6 American goldfinches
4 Dark-eyed juncos
