Hi all,

A lovely sunny morning but getting breezy -- not much new to report, other than our FOS BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER mewing in a pine tree near the mini-train tracks. No Palms, Pines, or other migrants that folks are seeing, alas! A cheery group of excited Tree Swallows at Pine Lake (now up to 10 birds), several bright, singing Chipping Sparrows, a pair of Bluebirds back at a nest box (and a pair of Chickadees investigating another), & nesting Phoebes at Brookside Gardens and Nature Center were about the best birds. Too many Canada Geese around!
