Went to take a high trail hike at Daniels area of Patapsco. As expected there were few birds (one Louisiana Waterthrush) but plenty of mosses and lichens. Wanted to see the flower situation but it was slow.  I found what I now deem the ODDEST thing I have ever found.....and will be the #1 picture in my weird things in the woods set!
