Weather:
Sunny; 58-59 degrees; excellent visibility (no fog!); strong winds, mostly
northwesterly, 12-22 mph, gusting to 35 mph
Raptor Observations:
Kestrels seem to like these winds and they did not disappoint. Three of
the four harriers were adult males.
Non-raptor Observations: Purple Martin 4; Northern Rough-winged Swallow 2;
Tree Swallow 27; crows and gulls appeared to be moving north today.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
