I saw two Rusty Blackbirds during my morning walk around Schoolhouse Pond today. A male and female flew to a visible perch in a tree near the rear observation platform. Also present were two Osprey, one adult Bald Eagle, several Wood Ducks, five Wilson's Snipe, and one Killdeer. Flyover gulls included Herring, Ring-billed, and one Great Black-backed. Also of note were eight Tree Swallows (busy around a Wood Duck box) and two singing Chipping Sparrows.
