Hi Everyone,

My wife Andrea and I did a late morning birding to Fort DuPont and Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens(KAG) early today.  Not a lot of "special" birds but we had a ton (10) PALM WARBLERs (all yellow eastern races except one Western ssp.!). At Fort DuPont FLICKERs seemed to be everywhere. Inside the tall, quality forest we had 2 flocks of HERMIT THRUSHES of which there were at least 5 individuals.   At KAG we found a FOS Blue-gray GNATCATCHER in the parking lot, and a lonely HORNED GREBE out on the water.

Good birding everyone!
