Hi Everybody:

I did some early birding this morning before work. I started in Frederick County at Lily Pons. Just after 7 AM I heard a MARSH WREN singing from the same location previously reported by Jim Moore. I then walked some of the smaller ponds behind the office building and heard, then saw a second marsh wren in the area where there used to be a small footbridge but now only has the support beams there. On my way back to work I talked to Kathy Calvert and based on her description of where she recently saw one there could be as many as 3 Marsh wrens there.

Once I left Lilly Pond I drove down Criss ford Rd. and immediately heard a LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH singing

Back in Montgomery County I stopped at the mill parking lot on Black Rock Rd. and also heard a La. Waterthrush there as well. I had a very vocal Yellow-bellied Sapsucker as well.
