Hello all.

I spent about 1.5 hours at Swan Creek this morning, and found a few good birds.

The somewhat marginal migration forecast for the week seems to be spot on, and that's just fine with me, as the LB Heron and Snowy Egret were good, seasonal birds that I look forward to seeing here every year.

Highlights:

LITTLE BLUE HERON: 4 adults. Old wetland. FOY for me and a good number for March.
SNOWY EGRET: 1 actively foraging in the mitigated wetland, vocalized nicely after being harassed by a Canada Goose.
Great Egret: 1 old wetland
Virginia Rail: 1 mitigated wetland
Hairy Woodpecker: 1 entrance to fenced off woodland road
Tree Swallow: 22+ mostly seen/heard over the old wetland
Golden-crowned Kinglet: 1 trail just before the wetlands
Brown Thrasher: 1 entrance to woodland road
Song Sparrow: 6
Savannah Sparrow: 1 mitigated wetland
Swamp Sparrow: 4
White-throated Sparrow: 8
American Goldfinch: 1 bright male
