The Yellow-throated Warbler continues at Schoolhouse Pond. I saw and heard the bird repeatedly during my lunchtime walk today. I did not hear it this morning, but the bird was singing relentlessly as it worked the mid to upper levels of the sycamores at the rear of the pond at noon today. Also of note was one male Rusty Blackbird and a male/female pair of Eastern Bluebirds. Its been a good spring for Rusty Blackbirds at the pond. Usually I feel lucky to see them once during migration. But this is the third sighting I've had this spring at the pond, with the other two times including a pair of birds and a small group.
