Hi all,

Cool, breezy and sunny are perhaps not the best combination for birding but certainly a lovely morning to be out in Wheaton Regional Park -- I didn't expect many migrants so was not disappointed when I saw "0" new species. However all the robins, chipping sparrows, cardinals et al. singing, as well as the redbuds and crab apples in bloom were a pleasant diversion. The best bird was a bright FOX SPARROW at the Brookside Nature Center feeders, seems late for one -- his friends in WRP proper were gone by the 3rd week in March. I also saw a few butterflies, including an American painted lady and some Juvenal's duskywings.
