Hi all,

I walked around Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary for a couple of hours last night,
highlights were a single GLOSSY IBIS in the pond behind the visitor center,
2 WHITE-EYED VIREOs, and good numbers of of all of the other regulars.  On
the way out I heard a (likely young) EASTERN TOWHEE practicing his song; it
started out with a normal note, but ended with the "tchew" "tchew" notes of
a cardinal song.
