OK - it's not what you think.  After surgery on my ankle, I'm in a non-weight bearing split for the rest of the month.  Getting around on crutches is miserable.  Basically, I'm camped out on the recliner with my foot elevated to reduce swelling.  The good news is that I can see 2 bird feeders and a bird bath.

This weekend, a Yellow-rumped Warbler had been at the seed laden suet feeder, haven't seen him today.  


Today, my first Ruby-throated Hummingbird showed up at the feeder - a brilliant male!  Also today, a gorgeous adult female Cooper's hawk landed on the feeder.  We have a pair breeding in the neighborhood, so maybe she's the resident.
