This morning I visited Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens to search for the
American Bittern reported by Scott Loss a week ago, making my fifth
search for the bird. I was not disappointed when I flushed the bird
from the marsh as I turned the corner to the first viewing area off
the boardwalk. I was lucky to be able to snap a few photos as the
bird circled and then settled at the back part of the marsh, beyond
some tall reeds.

Also of interest were 3 FOY Common Yellowthroat, aYellow-rumped
Warbler, 2 Greater Yellowlegs in the half-filled cells, and 2 Wilson's
Snipe.

Good birding,
