Hi Everyone,

Yesterday (7 Apr 2012) Carol and I made a brief stop to view the marsh in North Beach. Carol spotted a GLOSSY IBIS before it disappeared into the marsh--a new county bird for me!

Other highlights included:

Blue-winged Teal (a pair)
American Wigeon (1 male)
Wilson's Snipe (1)

We also had 4 swallow species in North Beach: Purple Martin and Northern Rough-winged, Tree, and Barn Swallows.

Jim Green reports from the field today that the Blue-winged Teal, American Wigeon, and Wilson's Snipe continue.

Have fun,
