This evening at around 6:15 PM I was treated to a phenomenal Bonaparte's Gull flock at Centennial Lake in Howard County. The birds lifted over the dam and then followed the water, heading up the Centennial Branch in a long, steady stream. I caught one photo in which I counted over 100 birds. The stream was at least 4 to 5 times longer than the snapshot. The birds continued upstream and lifted over the lake, continuing west. This was quite a treat to see!
