Hi all,

While walking my Corgi puppy this morning, I brought the bins with me.  I was hoping to see Broad-winged Hawks, and was rewarded with a sighting of 2 flying due north over Rock Creek Park. Another nice surprise was a singing House Wren.  We went up to the KP Elementary school to check out the nesting Fish Crows. One of them was bringing nesting material to a bulky nest high in a pine. They have been around for several weeks.

other species observed/heard:

Canada Geese 2 (flyovers)
American Robins
White-throated Sparrows 2-3
Song Sparrow
Purple Grackle
House Sparrows
Mourning Dove
Northern Cardinal
American Goldfinch
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Carolina Wren
