Morning all,
Last evening before dinner between 6:30 and about 7 PM, I watched my FOY Eastern Kingbird as it fed by sallying between the ground (freshly cut lawn) and our vegetable patch (still overgrown with weeds from last year). It occasionally perched on the fence around the pool, going to the ground to catch something. Nothing looks so fine as the first of season of a species!

About 7 PM I saw my FOY Osprey fly right over the house, slowly making its way NE. Heard my first Great-crested Flycatcher a couple of evenings ago also, and heard my first Gray Catbird in a yard in Bowie yesterday mid-day while on a job near Rt. 301 and Rt 197.
