Mike Burchett and Betsy Banger brought the luck this evening as we had the best views of the sparrows all day.  Mike took some nice pictures, but until he gets them online, here are two digiscopes that Kim took:

We have heard them a few times from our yard in the last hour so anyone that wants to try to listen is welcome to stop by.  I think we are leaving for the night, but I'll be around in the morning if the rain isn't too bad.  


I was unable to talk to the landowner's today, but I don't believe they are planning to mow these fields soon.  I'm hoping we can discourage mowing to see if they will nest.
