The Baltimore Oriole in my yard, traditionally one of the first to
arrive in the area in the spring, broke its record this year. The April
16th date is 5 days earlier than the previous early date of April 21
(set in 2010--this is out of four years I've been here). Also the first
oriole on eBird for the entire state this year. I'm torn between being
excited by these early arrivals and being concerned. But early they are.

Good birding!
