Hi Folks,

A morning survey at the Swan Creek/Cox Creek property in northern AA Co.
produced a scope view of a singing SEASIDE SPARROW in the mitigated
wetland. I had actually seen this bird two days ago, but only got a
glimpse, and wasn't going to count it until today's confirmation sighting.
Also present today in the same locale were two BLUE-WINGED TEALs, at least
two MARSH WRENs (one seen, the other heard), a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, a
VIRGINIA RAIL (heard), SORA (seen), and a LARGE RAIL (heard). The
mitigated wetland is tidal. Last evening Ed Carlson and I had a large rail
calling from the western wetland (across the road from the mitigated
wetland), which is fresh water. Since Ed may not post this, I'll mention
that yesterday morning he had two WILD TURKEYs actually IN the mitigated
wetland.

The north dredge cell had four DUNLIN both yesterday and today, and
yesterday there were as many as seven Blue-winged Teal in the south cell,
which also continues to host a flotilla of more than 300 Ruddy Ducks.
