Yard migrants

New arrivals for today; FOY Chimney Swifts (but only 3-4 seen), Great Egret flyby, beautiful male Northern Harrier flying just above treetop level out back between my yard and my neighbors hay field, heading NE slowly.

Also seen, a single flyover Common Loon, 2 separate unidentifiable larids very high heading towards Piney Run, or in that vicinity. A single, vocal Killdeer flew large slowly expanding circles over the yard before flying off. Still seeing a few Dark-eyed Juncos, hanging out in the brush pile (they seemed to like it all winter too, so a good investment of time).


Back to kitchen cabinet refinishing and tree planting...
