This morning at Truitt's Landing there was a single Black-necked Stilt on the mud flat. I also flushed a Sora walking up the road. Vaughn Central produced a Red-headed Woodpecker in the dead tree pond on the trail off to the left. If anyone goes looking for it, be careful, in the 90 seconds it takes to walk to the pond I found 8 Deer and Lone-star ticks on my pants. Sturges Road held lots of migrants including my FOY Worm-eating Warbler, WE Vireo, Blue-headed Vireo and Wood Thrush. -Scott Housten
