A little slower than I thought it would be, considering the south winds and warm morning, but still had some good birds. The picnic area had lots of PALMS , heard at least 2 FOY NORTHERN PARULA. Also BLUE GRAY GNATCATCHER and WHITE EYED VIREO, in the same spot I heard it last week. Rock Run was a little more exciting (for me anyway), where I had my FOY BLUE HEADED VIREO, associating with YELLOW RUMPED WARBLERS, and the NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED SWALLOW numbers are growing. Had 2 flyby CASPIAN TERNS. Lapidum was slow, although I did see several BONAPARTES GULLS and more NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED as well as TREE SWALLOWS. I'm out the door again to see what else is out there! Good birding!
