This request has me stumped. Any ideas on what this bird might be?

This past Friday I saw a bird which I am unable to identify. I hope you can
help. The bird was about the same size and body style of a robin. It had a
black head, light grey chest and a bright brown back. 

I would be grateful if you could help on this one,
