Beautiful morning yesterday at Lilypons, lot's of FOY birds for me. Most
notable sighting was an early Least Flycatcher. Complete checklist, with

Ring-necked Duck 1 female
Wild Turkey 1 gobbler heard
Great Egret 2 Osprey 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1 flew north along river
Cooper's Hawk 1 sat on Purple Martin box. Only 2 Purple Martins seen!!
Solitary Sandpiper 8 at least 8. Five near bridge and several others
scattered around
Lesser Yellowlegs 20 varying numbers on pond near Bridge. 12 at 06:50, 20
at 09:50
Pectoral Sandpiper 1 Wilson's Snipe 7

There were 2 Cattle Egrets at Willow Rd Ponds (north of Frederick, near
route 15) for 2 days last week. I tried to post to MDOsprey but because I
had resubscribed (change of email address) the post didn't make it through.
