Anhinga still present at far western end of Lake Waterford, in downed timber and tangles along waterline. I walked the south shoreline all the way out. Time is 7:30 pm.

Lisa and I found the Anhinga at the VERY far end of Lake Waterford around 735pm Friday evening, before heading over to Arlington Echo for the monthly Anne Arundel Bird Club meeting.

Ran into a happy Mikey Lutmerding at the entrance to the park, who helpfully pointed out the way. You have to keep going and going down and around the trail ... We may have been the last birders to see it this evening, but it had the look and feel of a bird that wasn't going anywhere.

Good luck to all tomorrow!
