Hi all, 

What with the unfavorable weather for migration we didn't expect much at Wheaton Regional Park and Brookside Gardens today, so were not disappointed. We always say, "well we ARE getting exercise!" The Gardens are beautiful right now, so at least it is fun to look at the blooming plants.... 

Only five species of warbler and several were silent; not much bird song from migrants either except for the happy Orioles that are still vocal. Many Waxwings as well (at least 100 but not as many as yesterday, when we estimated 200+). The Coot seems to have left, no shorebirds and no FOS either...
