Arrived at Swan Creek around 7:20am, just as the rain stopped and the bird(song) started. 15 minutes of carefully scanning the cells produced none of the American Avocets reported earlier. Down in the mitigated wetland, I heard and then briefly saw the Sedge Wren. A Sora gave a brief, one-time call and a Virginia Rail followed suit.

Lots of warblers in the trees on the path to the wetland. I paused long enough to hear Parula and see a Yellow Warbler, and then off to work. Lovely, but I hare birding on the clock!
