I joined Jay Sheppard and Winger West as they stood in the Little Patuxent River floodplain portion of the Little Patuxent Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve. Standing almost in one place, they had over 50 species. I don't have the complete list yet, but here are a few that I remember:

Wood Duck

Turkey Vulture
Black Vulture

Canada
Black-throated Blue
Northern Parula
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Red-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo
Warbling Vireo
(possible Philadelphia Vireo - but not confirmed visually)

(possible Yellow-billed Cuckoo - but not confirmed visually

Swainson's Thrush
Veery
Wood Thrush

Nothern Waterthrush
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Gray Catbird

Lincoln Sparrow
Song Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow

Pileated Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker

Barred Owl

Baltimore Oriole
Amercian Robin
