While everyone else is deciding how high in the teens they have to get for warbler species to call it a good day, I have it easier -- did I get 0 or more than 0? Today was quite remarkable for my daily urban walk to work (2 blocks in DC, 1 in Montgomery County). On the DC side, I had 2 Common Yellowthroats (one from the yard). In MD, I had a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, a Northern Parula, and a Northern Waterthrush (new work bird!). The waterthrush was still singing in the same place when I left work in the evening.
