Weather:
Fog for the first two hours; the fog lifted for about an hour and then
clouded up again as a line of storms approached; then some clearing late;
63-83 degrees; poor to fair visibility; winds light with a westerly
component near the end of the day

Raptor Observations:
A flight started when the fog lifted and then got snuffed out by the storms
although it didn't rain at the watch.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-breasted Merganser, Least Sandpiper (5); Greater Yellowlegs;
Ruby-throated Hummingbird; Yellow-throated Vireo; Chestnut-sided Warbler;
Black-throated Blue Warbler; Black-and-white Warbler; American Redstart (2);
Savannah Sparrow (8); butterflies: more Red Admirals and anglewings

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
