Morning all,
Took a double walk around the yard this morning, as things looked promising but stayed rather quiet. Only a few birds of note, but all really nice. Best bird was a well seen singing Warbling Vireo, which stayed high in a tall cherry tree while it slowly moved around, fed, sang, etc. Yard bird number 145, and the last of the vireos for my yard list!

Other good birds were a singing (if cuckoos sing) Black-billed Cuckoo heard from the neighbors ravine by the woods. Its song carried a long distance across the field. Also seen; adult male Blackpoll Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, both orioles, Cedar Waxwings, a continuing White-crowned Sparrow beneath the feeders, male RT Hummingbird, Indigo Bunting, E. Kingbird and Great Crested Flycatcher.

Going out to work in the yard, taking my bins...
