Wilson's Phalarope at Swan Creek

Dave Powell just reported a Wilson's Phalarope in the Swan Creek dredge facility in north Anne Arundel County. It was with roughly 100 other shorebirds on the south shore of the north impoundment. He advised that the bird was sometimes (often?) hidden from view.

This facility is private property and visitors must sign in at the office trailer while visiting. Access on the property is limited to the area around the trailer for viewing the impoundments and the road down to the mitigated wetland to the south. See other messages with reports from this facility for more info.
