Hi Everyone,

This morning I had a singing Alder Flycather at the intersection of Broad Branch Rd and Ridge Road over the little Broad Bach Tributary (Rock Creek Park DC).  The bird was exactly in the same location as the one I found last year (May 19th).  I got good, eye level looks, but of course, the singing was the clincher.  Knowing I was a little behind on Flycatchers I made a point to relearn the Empi songs last night, but didn't think it would come in handy so quickly.

Otherwise the birding was pretty average (highlight: singing Wilson's Warbler on the Fort DeRussy path just north of Military Rd.)

Good Birding!
