Hi Phil,

I trolled the area this afternoon on the way home from work.  I didn't go as far as the driving range you mentioned.  I did not see any Bluebirds at all.  However, there were tons of Indigo Buntings.  I may head out there again Saturday morning - got to be better than at 4PM!

I had about 40 minutes between commitments and this is fairly close to me ...

I checked the area between 11:30 and 12:10. I did not see any bluebirds around the location reported (the address refers to an posted, numbered dirt road that leads to the west). Then I drove the general area. The best area for bluebirds seemed to be the old driving range about a mile north of the referenced locations. The bluebirds sitting on the wires here seemed to be all Eastern, but I did not have a scope with me.

Good luck.

Phil

It was reported near 2000 Mill Branch Road, which is between Queen Anne's Bridge Road and Rt 301. The observer stated. "Habitat was on the edge of woods near open farm fields. Bird was spotted on the road and then took flight along the edge and into cover."
