Susquehanna was decidedly quieter than what it has been, but still some good birds. 2 male BAY BREASTED WARBLERS, one at Rock Run and one near the picnic area, were a delight. A YELLOW, CHESTNUT SIDED and BLACK THROATED GREEN also showed well at Rock Run. A MAGNOLIA was at the picnic area. I met up wth my husband, and we decided to see if Perryman park held anything. Nothing unusual, but a SOLITARY SANDPIPER was nice. Swan Harbor was our next stop, where we actually got to see 2 LEAST BITTERNS in a short flight. Except for 2 KILLDEER, no other shorebirds, which I was hoping would show up after the rain recently. I will post a full report with e-bird. Good birding!
