With just a few more mornings left before I'm out of here, a fluke flyover gave me species #125 for my Ft. Bayard Park list: YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON. It's my first night-heron flyover here--I used to frequently see Black-crowned when I lived in the Van Ness area, but never Yellow-crowned. This one's heading was about right for Sligo Creek--wonder if that's where it was headed.

Also in the park this morning were a singing BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER and a non-singing WORM-EATING (only my second for the park), plus 4 Blackpolls, 2 Redstarts, and a singing SCARLET TANAGER.
