Thanks to Nancy's prompt report, we decided to detour from our planned route for today and look for the MOURNING WARBLER. It was silent on our first pass of the Bluebird Trail, but then was singing loudly from the brambles between what must be the banding station parking lot and the next trail, the first turn by the information kiosk. We had seen movement in the brush along the parking lot and then heard the bird on the next trail, where I got a short but satisfactory look as it skulked in vines before flying across the trail.
