Afternoon all,
Late yesterday afternoon we were on our way to Eldersburg to the grocery store, driving north on Rt 94 (Woodbine Rd.). As we came to the old turf farm just south of the Winfield BP station (it's planted in corn now), we heard then saw a pair of Eastern Meadowlarks fly up from the field. They looked like they were going to land on the wires, but we drove past and I couldn't tell. They were singing loud enough in flight that we heard them with the windows half up driving about 40 mph. Haven't seen them in this location before.
