Subject: [MDBirding] Sabine's Gull directions

MD Birders,

When I left at 7:30 p.m. the adult Sabine's Gull was roosting on the water
to the left of Nichol's Cove as seen from the boat ramp at
Triadelphia--Greenbridge. You enter the site off of New Hampshire Ave in
Montgomery County.

Here is a link to the site:
http://howardbirds.org/birdinghowardcounty/Triadelphia/Greenbridge_Road_directions.htm

THE SITE IS ONLY OPEN FROM DAWN TO DUSK.
The gull may be viewed from the boat ramp or the pipeline. There is huge
dead rockfish at the boat ramp that attracted the gull. A fisherman watched
the gull flying around the boat ramp and dead fish starting around 6:30
p.m. He said he knew he had never seen a gull like it before.
To get to the pipeline area, follow the path that is shown as a black
dotted line on the attached link.

Many thanks to Tom Feild and Geraldine King for finding it!

Joe
