Hey All,
I decided to trek over to Patterson Park this evening. I was there for about an hour and half starting at 6 pm. It would have been much nicer if it hadn't started raining on me a few minutes after I arrived! Still, there were a few good birds. An OVENBIRD and a WOOD THRUSH were feeding near the community gardens, and there were at least three BALTIMORE ORIOLES by the Boat Lake. Also at the Lake, there were three GREEN HERONS, and a single BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER, a female and my first of the season.
I will be heading out tomorrow morning as well.
Good Birding!
